Heavy lifting operations

In large projects sometimes is requested to move the whole TBM across built stations, access tunnels, or by roads, in order to continue tunnel excavation.
Not many time ago we just thought in disassemble the TBM or build a large cradle as the ways to do it.

Recently we have obtained good results using heavy lifting technologies for move TBMs.

This can be a good solution to save costs and time building concrete cradles or steel structures which have to be destroyed immediately after being used.
We have used same technology for replace big TBM components, like cuterhead, in shafts or caves without access neither space for a crane.
This tools allows smooth and precise movements, with an accurate control of efforts and resistances.
